Tech :Google Pixel 3 vs iPhone XS: which is the best phone for you?

Google has revealed a pair of new Pixel phones: the Pixel 3 and 3 XL. Much like Apple’s recently released iPhone XS and XS Max, they’re outstanding handsets but with few hardware upgrades over their predecessors.
You can read our in-depth Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL hands-on impressions, but in a nutshell they are flagships that well and truly compete with Apple and Samsung’s flagships. Dual front-facing cameras, reduced bezels and chip upgrades are all present and correct, but it’s software that Google has decided to focus on with this year’s models.

While smartphone design has plateaued in recent years, camera technology continues to be a battleground for the flagships. These phones are no different. The iPhone XS and XS Max both boast a pair of 12MP cameras: one wide-angle lens and one telephoto lens, both with optical image stabilisation, and with an f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. On the front is a 7MP camera with a f/2.2 wide‑angle lens.
Google flips this formula. Instead of having dual camera on the rear, the Pixel 3 and 3 XL both have a single 12.2MP camera. On the front there’s not one but two cameras: an 8MP wide-angle lens and a regular 8MP lens. The former, according to Google, has a 97° field of view; designed to makes it easier to fit all of your friends in shot for ‘group selfies’.
Why the single rear camera, you ask. According to Google, it doesn’t need to have two lenses because it uses various machine-learning techniques to create different types of photographs. The Pixel 3 and 3 X also use AI software to improve picture quality by increasing the camera's focus as it moves around, and can take bursts of HDR photos before automatically picking what it thinks is the best images – a feature called Top Shot.

The Pixel 3 XL has a notch, but the Pixel 3 doesn’t

Glance at the Pixel 3 XL and you’ll be forgiven for mistaking it for Apple’s iPhone XS Max. The larger of Google’s handsets comes with an unmissable notch, slightly deeper and narrower than that on the iPhone, but a notch nonetheless. The smaller Pixel 3 doesn’t have one, and instead has thicker bezels at the top and bottom of its display
The Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch display, whereas the Pixel 3 XL measures in at 6.3 inches. The iPhone XS and XS Max, for comparison, are 5.8 inches and 6.5 inches. All use OLED displays, meaning they should have richer and more colourful displays than their LCD counterparts. If we’re splitting hairs, the Pixel 3 XL has the highest pixel density of the lot at 523ppi.
In terms of design, there’s not all that much between the different smartphones. The Pixel 3 looks the most distinct compared to the 3 XL and the two iPhones, but there’s nothing radical separating them when it comes to aesthetics. For colours, the Pixel 3 comes in pink, white and black, whereas the iPhone XS comes in gold, grey and silver.

The iPhone XS is more expensive than the Pixel 3

The Pixel 3 starts at £739 (64GB), while and Pixel 3 XL starts at £869 (64 GB). Not cheap, but cheaper than the iPhones, which start at £999 for the iPhone XS (64GB) and £1099 for the iPhone XS Max (64GB).

Unlike the iPhone XS, the Pixel 3 has a fingerprint sensor

While there were rumours about Apple working some under-screen fingerprint technology into its smartphones, this didn’t surface with the iPhone XS. Instead, you’ll need to use FaceID to unlock Apple’s most recent handsets. Google’s Pixel 3 has kept faith with the good old fingerprint sensor, which is mounted on the back of the device.
Android Pie offers scope for a camera to be used for facial recognition, but there’s no special FaceID equivalent with the Pixel 3. That also means there’s no Google equivalent of Apple’s Animojis to waste time with. If gurning animals are a deal breaker for you, then you’ll want to look at Apple’s 

Tech: UK police are buying top secret hacking tech to break into iPhones


UK police are stepping up their efforts to access the contents of locked iPhones. At least three police forces in England have spent thousands of pounds on new hacking technology to get into iPhones, according to financial documents seen by WIRED.
Officers in Lancashire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire have purchased licences for systems belonging to US-based firm Grayshift. The company, which has a former Apple engineer as a senior member of staff, emerged at the end of 2017 and can reportedly unlock iPhones running everything up to Apple's latest operating system, iOS 12.
It sells a small box, called GrayKey, that plugs into an iPhone and unlocks it. To do this it exploits alleged vulnerabilities in Apple's software. Once an iPhone has been unlocked it is possible to access everything on the device, including messages, photos and activity logs. GrayKey has proved to be a significant headache for Apple, which has improved security on its phones in an attempt to block it.
Spending records from the three police forces reveal payments to Grayshift for the technology. It is believed to be the first time that UK public authorities have purchased the firm's technologies and follows high-level interest from law enforcement in the US.

"What we're seeing is a broader pattern where police forces are essentially secretly purchasing this equipment and then deploying it," says Scarlet Kim, a legal officer at the charity Privacy International. "Given the intrusiveness of the technology, there are certain baseline safeguards that need to be introduced."
A financial document from Nottinghamshire police reveals it spent £11,000 on buying a GrayKey in June. The tech will "reduce the need to send phones to Leicestershire for unlocking", the document explains. Similarly, monthly spending figures from Derbyshire show it spent £11,477.54 in June alone on technology from Grayshift. Lancashire Police has taken a slightly different approach, purchasing the system for £46,200 over a period of four years from a third-party supplier in Hertfordshire, called Micro Systemation Limited.
Both Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire forces confirmed their purchases of the technology, while Lancashire did not respond to a request for comment. "Bypassing security on digital devices is a daily requirement for which Nottinghamshire Police use a range of tools and techniques from several different suppliers," a spokesperson for the force said, adding that getting into devices takes place during police investigations.
"It is part of a suite of tools used to complete criminal investigations," a spokesperson for Derbyshire Constabulary added. It did not elaborate how and when it uses the technology, citing "operational reasons".
Grayshift and its GrayKey first emerged in 2017, a year after Apple's public encryption spat with the FBI. Grayshift largely operates under the public radar and is cheaper than products from competitors. The device was first reported on by Forbesin March 2018. The company reportedly offers two models of its iPhone unlocking tech: a $15,000 (£11,437) licence which allows around 300 phones to be unlocked and an offline version that costs twice as much and can unlock an unlimited number of phones.
In iOS 12, the latest version of the iPhone and iPad operating system, Apple introduced a new feature that attempted to stop iPhone hacking technology being used. As first reported by Motherboard, the USB Restricted Mode requires passwords to be entered when a phone has a cable connected. Grayshift has apparently found a way around this.
"Devices such as the ones Grayshift makes allow less technically proficient law enforcement to access this data, and in most cases this is a good thing," says Jean-Philippe Taggart, a senior security researcher at Malwarebytes. He says that the ability to access evidence on encrypted phones has been a huge problem for police and many lack the expertise to access data themselves. "Technology that makes accessing encrypted phones is troubling because of its potential misuse," he adds.
Grayshift isn't the only firm that sells phone hacking technology – Israeli firm Cellebrite leads the market and has claimed to be able to unlock everything up to the iPhone X. Reports have revealed the US state department, Drug Enforcement Administration and other police forces have purchased Grayshift's GrayKey. The FBI is also allegedly interested in the tech.Research from Privacy International has shown that more than half of the UK's police forces are using technology to pull data from mobile phones. This technology includes self-service kiosks where officers can unlock phones, hubs that serve multiple police forces and systems that can be used remotely.
"Privacy International believes that a lack of any kind of warrantry or record keeping, and no independent oversight in relation to the exercise of mobile phone extraction powers, creates a serious risk of abuse and discriminatory practices," the organisation's report concluded.
Kim says that given how much data can be pulled from a person's phone there should be a form of judicial approval before such technology is used. "The public are in the dark," Kim says. She points to new laws that have been passed in several US states that require authorities to publicly disclose what surveillance technology they are using and buying.

Tech:Bio-dynamic Cement




A company in Italy has prepared the latest type of cement. This cement can absorb smoke and convert this smoke into harmless salt. This is named as ‘’Biodynamic Cement’’ which absorbs the city’s traffic smoke and keeps its environment clear. The buildings made by it will be environment-friendly.
This cement is manufactured with recycled waste, marble, and sandy gravel, which absorb nitrogen oxide and sulphur from the atmosphere and convert into the salt. It is titanium mixed to begin the chemical process of absorbing dust and smoke around. Titanium will ignite the chemical process because it’ll be absorbing ultraviolet radiations of the sunlight.
The first building from this cement has been made in Milan, Italy. Which is named as ‘’Palazzo Italia’’, and its color is milky white. This cement will never be painted, because by spraying paint on it, it’ll lose its properties.
The cement making company name is ‘’Italcementi Group’’. Since this cement is made of recycled ingredients, it can be considered as an environment-friendly. The first building used 2200 tonnes of cement which can tolerate pressure and other weather conditions like ordinary cement but it also has flexibility.
According to the company, if the cement is used to make buildings and bridges of polluted and congested cities then it will be possible to control air pollution to a larger extent.

China’s has manufactured world biggest “Amphibious Aircraft” means air & water ship. Its first flight is conducted some days ago, and this flight was phenomenal. The name of this plane is “AG600”. This plane is manufactured to provide assistance to Chinese forces to advance their skills. This could become a milestone toward their goals.
This plane is take-off for their first flight from the southern province of Guangdong of China, On 24 December 2017. This flight is about one hour long and land safely to Zhuhai Airport. It is world largest amphibious aircraft.
It can fly in the sky and also be landing capability on water.it has an ability to take-off with carrying 53.5 tonnes of weight, which is almost 117,947 lb. It can cover the distance of 2800 miles in one flight operation.

A conflict of coastal areas of South China Seas is in between with Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, and Taiwan and also with Brunei.
It is designed by the ‘’Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC)’’.its manufacturing take almost 8 years. It has the capacity of 50 passengers. It is having a length of 36.9 m which is almost 121 ft. 1 in. its height is 12.1 metres. This aircraft has 6-bladded constant speed propellers.
Its volume is almost same as Boeing-737. It is also designed to marine rescue and also for forest fire extinguishing. It can carry 12 metric ton water to rescue with fire-affected areas. It has a maximum speed of 570 km/h, which is almost 354 mph; or 308 KN.

These genetically transform plants could also give reactions on different occasions, by doing this types of reactions; it’ll make no damage to its plant. For this DARPA will collect information, feedback, follow-up stories and other project related info from 12 December 2017.
Firstly its prototype test will be done in Green houses and other experimental areas, and then it’ll be tested on large scale. And it’ll be tested in the field i.e. natural atmosphere. The supervision of this project will be done by American Department of Agriculture. And also monitor these plants through satellite. It’ll also monitor its temperature.
We know that sunflower rotate its face towards sun or sunlight and we also know about the sensitiveness of sensitive plant. And this research is also based on this type of natural technology. transform this naturally done technology to other plants, to produce or genetically enhance their abilities or its unusual properties.
